Job Title: Finance Analyst - Government Finance
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 in office days a week
Working Location: Indianapolis, IN
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst in Government Finance. As part of the Government Finance team, you will be responsible for preparing priced project proposals and Government-required submissions and for working with the Business to provide compliance consultation and adherence.

What you will be doing:
- Understand the requirements of the US Department of Defense (DOD): Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations and Cost Accounting Standards regulations to interpret company compliance and advise on improvements when required
- Ensure basis of estimate substantiation is compliant with the Truthful Cost or Pricing statute and the Estimating Business System requirements
- Prepare pricing proposals for rates (FPRP) and contracts
- Prepare and review CASB Disclosure Statement, rate monitoring and Cost Accounting Practice change cost impacts
- Perform reconciliations to report incurred costs utilizing advanced excel skills
- Work directly with Customer Representatives including Defense Contract Management Agency and Defense Contract Audit Agency
- Maintain and update the policies and procedures

Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 4+ years of financial experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 2+ years of financial experience, OR
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, OR
- JD/PhD in Accounting, Finance, or Business, OR
- 6+ years of financial experience in lieu of a degree
- To be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems
- Experience in submitting Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and/or Incurred Cost Submissions
- Familiarity with the U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and working knowledge of Customer Facing Business Unit proposal process
- Ability to understand financial impact of business decisions
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP
